How to apply for Akhanda Yoga Teacher Training

Prerequisites: We recommend that candidates for the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training have at least one year of regular weekly yoga study.

For our 100-Hour modules and 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training programs a Yoga Alliance accredited 200-Hour program must be completed prior to commencement. Exceptions may be made where students want to complete advanced studies for their own personal development and will not require a Yoga Alliance certificate upon completion.

Our continuing education programs are available for all and can be applied to your Yoga Alliance profile where a 200-Hour program has already been completed.

Upon registering for our programs, you'll be prompted to fill out a brief online application. You will be prompted at registration to enter your credit card information to secure your spot in the course. You will receive an email notification of your registration with details including pre course prep and other details required for your enrollment.

We recommend that you apply for Training programs as soon as possible. You can also contact us regarding our scholarship opportunities.

Continuing Education Courses

Have you been practicing or even teaching Yoga for a while and want to deepen your practice or further your studies?

Akhanda Yoga Institute provides opportunities to take courses of various lengths and covering many different areas of Yoga practice from Pranayama to Asana, to Meditation, and Yogic lifestyle.

Yoga teachers with a registered 200 Hour YTT will obtain a certificate for Continuing Education hours on their Yoga Alliance profile.
