What – laughing in yoga? An enthusiastic YES!!! When does one get the opportunity to study with a Himalayan Yoga Master from the comfort of your own home? Where can one meet wonderful souls throughout the world united by a desire to learn and grow? Look no further than here! Akhanda Yoga has made this possible through their Virtual YTT200 course. Friday night and reasonably scheduled weekend classes allowed attending this class while working my regular position. I enjoyed the philosophy and holistic lifestyle approach Vishva-ji and his team embrace.
As I expanded in this course, my ability to thrive in COVID-19 chaos increased. I was more calm because of pranayama and asana practice, had solutions appear through meditation and became more centered and grounded through sounding and yogic philosophy. The combination of zoom classes from excellent teachers around the world, pre-recorded classes, reading and small group sessions provide a meaningful, broad based experience, perhaps a bit more broad if one attended in an ashram. Our cohort continues to meet through WhatsApp to celebrate our growth and continue our practice. As I speak with other yoga students and teachers, they commented Akhanda’s YTT200 level offers more dimensions than many other programs. Oh, and did I mention that laughter is included and celebrated? Highly recommend!!
