Akhanda Yoga Institute’s Pranayama Focused 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, offered in Rishikesh India is a life-changing opportunity as well as a professional qualification.

Retreat for a nourishing 7 days and 6 nights to a grounding, healing and soul rejuvenating environment where you will receive tools to declutter your mind and energy, shift anxiety and completely reset your nervous system.

Led by Yogrishi, you will “Rebirth your Breath” using traditional Pranayama and Meditation techniques, and enjoy a unique experience of deep reset using Yogic Sleep (Yoga Nidra) practices.

SPECIALISED VIRTUAL 100 Hour YTT

Akhanda Yoga Institute is excited to offer this foundational 100 hour YTT for teachers who would like to extend the wonderful practice of yoga to the more mature person in a way that is enjoyable, encouraging and transforming. You will come away with a strong foundation and tools to commence teaching this large section of the population in a safe and competent way.

This program will be offered online.

Begin your journey into Raj Yoga, an innovative and inclusive style designed by Yogrishi Vishvketu to help you move very simply towards more calm, meditative awareness and integration, while healing the nervous system. With this unique 100 hour YTT module, you will add this inclusive Yoga style to your teaching services, and learn to tailor Raj Yoga for those who need a very moderate flow, to practice in a chair or even to practice in bed. The Training takes place in the Foothills of the Himalayas includes accommodation, meals, workshops, and group day trips.

At this time, when many people are experiencing unprecedented stress, breathwork / pranayama offers many benefits. Training in breathwork will give you tools to help people cope with uncertainty and anxiety. This Yoga Alliance accredited program includes breathwork coaching skills, authentic Yogic wisdom, and ancient pranayama techniques. Learn how to be of service and support people with the power of breathing!

This advanced pranayama program will take you deeper and further on your spiritual journey. Learn to create pranayama sequences within a strong framework of wisdom from ancient Yogic practices, exploring philosophy from key Adi Nath Shiva lineage texts. This well-paced, flexible, virtual 100 hour pranayama teacher training will empower you to confidently guide customised breathwork practices for individual, specific needs.

What – laughing in yoga? An enthusiastic YES!!! When does one get the opportunity to study with a Himalayan Yoga Master from the comfort of your own home? Where can one meet wonderful souls throughout the world united by a desire to learn and grow? Look no further than here! Akhanda Yoga has made this possible through their Virtual YTT200 course. Friday night and reasonably scheduled weekend classes allowed attending this class while working my regular position. I enjoyed the philosophy and holistic lifestyle approach Vishva-ji and his team embrace.

As I expanded in this course, my ability to thrive in COVID-19 chaos increased. I was more calm because of pranayama and asana practice, had solutions appear through meditation and became more centered and grounded through sounding and yogic philosophy. The combination of zoom classes from excellent teachers around the world, pre-recorded classes, reading and small group sessions provide a meaningful, broad based experience, perhaps a bit more broad if one attended in an ashram. Our cohort continues to meet through WhatsApp to celebrate our growth and continue our practice. As I speak with other yoga students and teachers, they commented Akhanda’s YTT200 level offers more dimensions than many other programs. Oh, and did I mention that laughter is included and celebrated? Highly recommend!!
