March 1st - March 9th, 2026
A Heartfelt Celebration in the Himalayas
Akhanda Yoga Wellbeing welcomes you to the Akhanda Sri Jungle Yoga Ashram for the Akhanda Yoga Festival — a shared celebration of Yogic life held during the auspicious season of Holi, the Vedic festival of renewal, clarity, and light.
This nine-day immersion is an offering: a space for you to return to your practice, to your roots, and to a global family of like-hearted seekers.
Set in the forested hills above Rishikesh, this is not only a time for deep Yogic study, but also a gathering in community — a week to remember, rejoice, and rest in the sanctuary of nature and the teachings.
You will be guided by Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu and senior teachers from the Akhanda community, alongside honored Swamis, musicians, and spiritual leaders from Rishikesh and beyond.
Each day follows a steady, intentional rhythm, offering space to study, receive and connect.
Holi: Color, Light, and Renewal
This year's festival coincides with Holi, a deeply symbolic observance that honors the triumph of light over darkness, and the rebirth of clarity and joy.
In the Yogic calendar, Holi marks the turning point from winter toward spring — a threshold moment in which the inner fire is rekindled, and the past is offered back to the elements. You will be invited to enter this sacred cycle through ritual.
Akhanda Sri Jungle Yoga Ashram
Sri Jungle Ashram is located 27 kilometers from Rishikesh, tucked into the forested hillside of Uttarakhand. It offers an ideal setting for immersion — away from the movements of the world, yet deeply connected to ancient rhythms of tradition and nature.
Accommodations are clean, simple, and quiet. Rooms are designed to support inner work and rest, whether shared or private. All meals are vegetarian, sattvic, and Ayurvedically balanced, prepared by our dedicated kitchen team with care.
Group transportation from Rishikesh to the ashram is included in your registration.
You’ll have time to walk among the trees, sit beside the river, or simply rest in silence — allowing the natural world to become part of your study and healing.
