What should I bring to the festival?

We know how exciting it gets planning these once-in-a-lifetime memories kind of trips! We will be sharing a suggested packing checklist in your welcome letter once you have registered.

Is this festival suitable for beginners?

As Dr. Yogrishi says, "If you can breathe, you can do Yoga." This attitude of inclusion and accessibility flows throughout all our classes and sessions.

What is the Ashram’s stance on sustainability?

Akhanda Yoga Sri Jungle Ashram is committed to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. We encourage all participants to bring earth-friendly toiletries to respect our natural surroundings. The Ashram actively engages in waste reduction, organic gardening, and conservation efforts to maintain the pristine environment.

What is the expected cultural etiquette?

We kindly ask that all participants wear covered, loose-fitting clothes and adhere to the Ashram’s code of conduct. This includes while swimming in the beautiful rivers and waterfalls, we respect the local culture and wear t-shirts/shorts/longer coverings over swimwear. We strictly prohibit the use of intoxicants and stimulants near or on the premises or at any time during the festival. Violations will result in fines, referrals to local police authorities, and immediate, non-refundable expulsion from the festival.

Yes definitely! The safety and wellbeing of our guests is of utmost importance to us. 

The Ashram is self-contained and we have a trusted team of staff and security guards on duty at all times (the Ashram is locked at night). 

A dedicated front office and 24-hour on-site staff are available to make your stay comfortable and to offer any assistance needed including medical.
