Today my message is: Atha yoga anushasanam

This is the first yoga sutra. Patanjali is saying if you are interested in a yoga practice, the first step of the practice is to learn to be in the moment and to learn to be disciplined.

This is the first step in yoga – what you say you do. Just to train your mind to concentrate.

Close eyes. Take a long deep breath in.

Exhaling – Just more calm and relaxed.

Inhaling just feel your breath more concentrating.

Exhaling.

Big inhale with a beautiful smile and at the top of the inhalation hold breath in – just feel you are melting with the space. Just feeling now in the moment. Exhale.

Softly open you eyes with a beautiful smile.

Namaste and this is the mantra today – just being in the moment.
