Meditation: A Hatha-Raja Teacher Training

Meditation: A Hatha-Raja Teacher Training is an intensive 100-hour, 10-day residential course at Anand Prakash Ashram in Rishikesh, India, taught by Yogrishi Vishvketu and Yog Sundari. Together they make an inspiring and transformational teaching team! This course qualifies as one of our three modules toward the 500-hour RYT designation. Exploring the last four limbs of Patanjali’s eight-fold path: pratyahara, dharana, dhyana and Samadhi through theory and practical applications in concentration, meditation and free awareness, including how to teach meditation in incremental steps. In this module, you will learn about the wonders of the bhramaree pranayama and how to design and teach a Hatha-Raja Yoga class, including a full-length Hatha-Raja practicum experience. We will also explore Yogic anatomy and the five koshas map of the subtle body and how it informs each aspect of our practice.

Yogrishi Vishvketu is an internationally renowned teacher, conference presenter and yoga teacher trainer. The co-founder of Akhanda Yoga (with Chetana Panwar/Jessica Torrens), he began his journey as a student and practitioner of Hatha and Raja yoga and the Vedic healing arts as a child in northern India.
