Professional accreditation

Certified Yoga Teachers who take both Module 1 & Module 2 will get a certificate for 100 Continuing Education hours on their Yoga Alliance profile or as a module of the Akhanda Yoga YTT 300. For those that who have not yet completed a 200 hour YTT, you will receive a certificate of participation.

Yoga Nidra & Meditation Yoga Teacher Training

During this extended time of the pandemic we have all accumulated more stress which impacts our day to day life if we are unable to release it. Yoga Nidra allows you to release stress from many years on both the physical and mental level. And meditation allows you to connect to your highest Self. Remember, wellbeing is your birthright, and these powerful practices support you in connecting to this birthright.

Our bodies hold stress and when this stress becomes chronic, it impacts us at a deep, cellular level. What this means is that even during deep sleep, we don’t experience the healing and balancing balm of deep relaxation.  And without this deep healing, our days tend to unfold without focus, intention, clarity, or radiance.

The practices of Yoga Nidra and Meditation bring you to a state of witnessing that allows deep relaxation and realignment in all layers of existence. These practices allow you to connect more deeply with your intuition and your soul. When you are connected to your Soul, your Soul guides you to your purpose, rather than the mind and ego which are often directing our lives.

In this two part 100 hour YTT program you’ll learn about the ways in which these practices can support you in reprogramming the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious mind.

Module 1 will be focused on the foundation of the practices, learning the history, anatomy, benefits, art of relaxation, differences between styles of practices, and more!

Module 2 will be focused on how to teach these techniques to others, including Yoga Nidra for Ancestral Healing, Insomnia, Anxiety, and Trauma Release. You’ll also be provided with guidelines for ongoing practice as well as scripts for Yoga Nidra and how to weave in Akhanda themes.

 

Cancellations & Course Schedule Changes for Online Offerings:
Whilst it is not typically the case, from time to time there may be circumstances that prevent a course from running at its scheduled time, including but not limited to: government restrictions, global or local regulatory changes including those associated with the pandemic, extreme weather events, individual circumstances, insufficient numbers and/or severe disruption to power supply or technology platforms.
If any of these circumstances occur:
  1. Cancellation requests made by a course participant due to their own individual, extenuating and/or unavoidable circumstances: the participant is eligible for a refund (less administration fee of 5%) up to 20 days prior to course commencement. In the 20 days leading up to the course and/or after course commencement, the participant is no longer eligible for a refund but can allocate unused funds towards other eligible Institute online offerings.
  2. Cancellations required to be made due to other extenuating circumstances such as those relating to government regulatory changes, extreme weather events and so forth which are not driven by the Institute or the individual: the participant is eligible for a refund (less administration fee of 5%) and/or allocation of unused funds towards other eligible Institute online offerings.
  3. Cancellations made by the Institute due to insufficient numbers and/or other Institute specific circumstances: participants are eligible for a full refund and/or allocation of unused funds towards other eligible Institute online offerings.

Please note: As an organization that works internationally, when issuing refunds, Akhanda Yoga Institute is not responsible for changes that may have occurred with exchange rates.

Course Requirement

In order to take Module 2 you must have successfully completed Module 1.

70% of the program must be attended live in order to receive certification. If for some reason you must miss more than 30% we will work with you individually to make up time privately with one of the teachers (or within a group if there are multiple people missing the same sessions). These private makeup sessions do have an additional fee to compensate the teachers for their additional time.
