Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram

This retreat will be held at Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram & Retreat Centre in Rishikesh, India. The Ashram is located in Tapovan by the banks of the Ganga River, surrounded by the foothills of the Himalaya.

Anand Prakash Ashram is a sanctuary. A place dedicated to self-care, meditation and spiritual practice. You will experience authentic Yoga teachings; traditional Vedic fire puja, meditation, pranayama and yoga Nidra. Immerse yourself in the nourishing Ashram environment, eat soothing Ayurvedic food and surround yourself in a community that supports self-healing. This will be your place to align all layers of your being: physical, emotional, and spiritual.

5:20am: Guided Meditation
6:00am: Akhanda Yoga/Pranayama Class
7:50am: Special Vedic Fire Puja with Yogrishi
8:45am:  Yogic Breakfast, Fruit + Herbal Tea
10:30am: Workshop / Meditation Walk / Ganga Dip / Reflective Time*

  • Introduction to Cellular memory: Embodied memories and how Movement, Breathwork and Yoga Nidra work to release and restore.

  • A day trip to the spiritually recharging Shree Jungle Ashram to enjoy the immersive meditative practices in the serenity of Shaktis land in the Himalayas. Enjoy fire brewed chai, learn about organic farming and uplift your soul with songs and satsang.

About Rishikesh

Rishikesh is an ancient spiritual centre in North India where seekers and Yogis have gathered for centuries. Today, Rishikesh is a vibrant community of Yoga students, spiritual seekers, adventure travellers, and Hindu pilgrims. With white sand beaches, temples, cafés and a thriving marketplace, Rishikesh is a world meeting place.

In the evening, the wind picks up and brings fresh Prana from the glaciers of the Himalayas, and many people find the energy here exhilarating and yet grounded in tradition.

Organic stores, fresh produce, temples, and the Ganga River are within walking distance. Rishikesh is also surrounded by scenic landscapes, waterfalls, hiking trails, and meditation caves, and the holy city of Haridwar is less than 30 kilometres. We can help arrange day tours and transportation to nearby places of interest before or after the Retreat.
