Spiritual Sanctuary

Anand Prakash Ashram offers a welcoming, nurturing sanctuary for spiritual seekers from around the world, providing comfortable accommodations, safe food, clean water, and guidance for your yogic journey.


Centrally located in Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga, in the foothills of the Himalayas and along the shores of the Ganga (Ganges River), the ashram is 250 km north of Delhi and is easily accessible by vehicle or by air.

Ashram Fee


Ashram fee includes two yoga classes (except Sunday), three vegetarian meals per day and participation in all daily ashram activities.

The day rate is:

  • 1000 rupees per day for a shared room (approx. $15 USD)
  • A/C available in rooms 17, 18, 19 for an extra 300 rupees per room per night

Live Out Pass:

700 rupees per person per day includes twice daily yoga classes (except Sunday), daily Fire Puja, morning meditation, Kirtan on Tues. and Thurs. and all meals.

No charge for children under age 10 if parents have a Live Out Pass. Parents are encouraged to make a donation for food based on what they think is reasonable.


  • Clean, comfortable room (hot water/bathroom/Western toilet/sheets/pillows/blankets) *double occupancy
  • 3 healthy and delicious vegetarian meals per day

Ashram Schedule

  • 5:20-5:50am – Individual Meditation
  • 6:00-7:45am – Yoga Class: asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation (not on Sunday)
  • 8:00am – Agnihotra (fire puja)
  • 8:30-9:00am – Breakfast
  • 12:30pm – Lunch
  • 4:00-5:45pm – Yoga Class: asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation (not on Sunday)
  • 6:00pm – Dinner
  • 7:00-8:00pm – Kirtan / Chanting (Tuesday & Thursday)

Note that meal times may be subject to change.


All arrangements for your stay can be made with the ashram office, whose staff is on hand to support you in providing a positive and enjoyable experience during your retreat.
